Welcome to the newly designed Elasmoworld Reference Database.  After the latest major update in October 2004, the reference database contains over 9000 entries and 20,000 keywords.

Improvements are being made and any help (by pointing out errors) is greatly appreciated.

Here are a few problems that you might encounter:

• Lack of keywords for some entries.
• Small formatting problems (this would include capital letters, punctuation, etc.).

This database is constantly growing. In the near future

• More entries will be made
• More keywords will be added (maybe some abstracts).
• Link to biological database (for each species in reference database).
• Link to other websites offering some articles or book (for sale).

IMPORTANT
DUE TO COPYRIGHTS, ABSTRACT CAN NOT BE VIEWED (UNLESS PERMITTED). SOME CAN HOWEVER BE SEARCHED (for keywords).
I AM TRYING TO GET SOME PERMISSION TO DISPLAY THE ABSTRACTS.
