Shark Site: This website is maintained by Ian K. Fergusson and is focusing
primarily on Mediterranean shark fauna.
- Department of Zoology, University
of Hawaii at Manoa: This lab is headed by Dr. Tim Tricas and
focuses on behavioral ecology and sensory biology of sharks, rays and coral
reef fishes. Additional research include mechanisms of feeding,
reproductive, orientation and social behaviors, and how sensory systems
contribute to their expression.
- The Mediterranean Shark
Research Group: created in summer 2000 as an initiative of some
researchers interested in promoting a web of information exchange between
ichthyologists who study sharks of the Mediterranean Sea, in a perspective of
complete collaboration.

Board (NSB) is a service organization that protects beach users in KwaZulu-Natal
against shark attack It has over thirty years of experience in prevention of
shark attack and research on sharks Its staff act as consultants throughout
the world and are willing to advise anyone with a shark attack problem The
NSB supports and promotes the conservation of sharks. Visit the only

prevention of shark attack.

National Center of the Ocean, located in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.
This is a scientific and educational center dedicated to the human
interaction with the ocean. The objective of the center is to raise
public awareness, allow the better understanding and interaction with the
ocean and promote the conservation of marine resources.

Shark Attack File, Toronga Zoo: The Australian Shark Attack File is
coordinated at Taronga Zoo and is associated with the International Shark
Attack File which is coordinated by the American Elasmobranch Society

Center for Shark Research: The mission of the CSR is to conduct leading
scientific studies on all aspects of the biology of sharks and their
relatives, the skates and rays, with an emphasis on their role as important
marine resources.
